GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Key Features

GoCharlie focuses on four major areas of content:  Blog Articles, Social Media, Images & Art, and Content Repurposing.  Meanwhile, WordHero includes a wider selection of options for blog writing, social media, advertising, and many other general copywriting and business writing functions.  However, they don’t currently offer image functionality.

Here, it really depends on why you need a content generator and what you’re going to primarily use it for.  If you’re looking to get more long-form content and to create complete blog post articles, then GoCharlie is a better choice.  On the other hand, if you need content generation for different writing chores such as advertising, promotions, and other copywriting tasks, then WordHero is a better fit for you.

Because GoCharlie does a better job with blog posts, social media, and art (which is what I need most often), I give GoCharlie the edge in this category.

GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Usability

Both GoCharlie and WordHero are easy to use.  However, I was able to get up and running a little quicker with GoCharlie.  Their dashboard interface is a little more intuitive.  And, most importantly for me, it is much easier to create long-form content with GoCharlie.

With WordHero, you’re really working on and generating one paragraph at a time, which can slow things down.  Also, their control panel interface is a little too crammed for me.  So, while I give both tools a thumbs up for usability, GoCharlie is the winner here too.

GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Performance

Again, because you’re basically generating one paragraph or section at a time in WordHero, the process takes longer.  With GoCharlie, you can generate an entire blog post with one click.  In terms of speed, both GoCharlie and WordHero generate content  quickly with no major delays. But again, when creating long-form content, GoCharlie is much easier.

GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Content Quality

GoCharlie is the winner for content quality.  Not only can you generate a complete blog post with one-click, but the content is well-written, and only once so far did I find a fragment of a sentence that I needed to delete.  Also, the output from GoCharlie was formatted better than my output from WordHero.  I also found more errors or things I needed to correct with the content generated from WordHero.

With social media content, I was also more impressed with GoCharlie.  With GoCharlie, you get social media posts that are formatted for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  And, I found the social media output form GoCharlie more detailed and interesting.

GoCharlie is definitely the winner in the content quality category.

GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Customer Support

Both GoCharlie and WordHero get props for their customer support.  Although neither currently has live chat support, the chat support they do offer lets you post questions or issues and you get a reply via email.

I found the response times to be good with both GoCharlie and WordHero.  I received responses within a few hours from both support teams.  And, the support teams for both companies were helpful and courteous.  I have to call it a tie in this category.

GoCharlie vs WordHero:  Pricing

GoCharlie is currently a better value.  Their monthly plan costs $39, while WordHero costs $49.  Both companies offer discounts if you purchase an annual plan.  WordHero is a bit cheaper if you pay for a yearly plan.  However, in my opinion, the quality of content you get with GoCharlie makes it the better deal.

Recommendation

Overall, in this comparison of GoCharlie vs WordHero, GoCharlie is the winner.  The ability to more quickly and easily generate complete long-form articles, plus the quality of the content you get is superior in our opinion.  Also, the ability to generate better social media posts, as well as art and images, makes it the better choice.

The one situation where WordHero would be the better option is if you specifically need content generation for ads, products, or other business related copywriting.  In that case, WordHero would be the better fit.

However, for most AI content generation scenarios, we would recommend GoCharlie.
