Which is better: GoCharlie or Copymatic? In this comparison of GoCharlie vs Copymatic, we take a detailed look at two of the better AI content generators currently on the market. Which one should you choose? Let’s take a detailed look at what features you get with each tool and how it performs in generating content.
GoCharlie is an AI content generator that focuses on four major areas:
Charlie is the mascot dog for GoCharlie. Charlie is a clever way of demonstrating that using their AI generator is not only easy, but can be as entertaining as working with your pet dog.
Mission Statement:
We’re a generative artificial intelligence company leading the development of a goal-driven and multi-modal engine: Charlie! Charlie helps entrepreneurs and enterprises create content that performs.
Copymatic is an AI content generator that features a wide array of output functionality including:
Mission Statement:
Automatically generate blog articles, website copy, landing pages & digital ads for your business in seconds. Unleash the most advanced AI writer to boost your traffic and productivity.
GoCharlie focuses on four major areas of content: Blog Articles, Social Media, Images & Art, and Content Repurposing. Copymatic is a bit more ambitious as it includes additional copywriting features along with blog posts, images, and social media. If you’re interested in having more features available from your AI content generator, then Copymatic gets the edge. However, for blog articles, images, and content repurposing, GoCharlie is more impressive at this point.
So, while Copymatic offers more features, because creating long-form blog content and images are most important to most website owners, I give GoCharlie the advantage here. But, it is a close call here.
Both GoCharlie and Copymatic are very easy to use, so they both get high marks there. You can access all functions quickly from the respective dashboards. In this category, I do give GoCharlie the edge for a couple of reasons. First, the one-click blog article generator is a faster and easier way to create full blog posts. And second, at certain times Copymatic did not immediate produce content—though it appeared the process was running. It took multiple attempts sometimes to generate the proper content.
As I mentioned above, it appeared that Copymatic may have had a couple of glitches during my testing—though eventually everything did work. I didn’t run into any issues with GoCharlie, and I was able to generate longer blog articles with the one-click feature. Both of these AI content generators produce results very quickly. Overall, in this category I would put GoCharlie ahead based on slightly smoother performance in article generation.
In terms of quality, it’s another close call. Both GoCharlie and Copymatic produced good output with minimal errors in my experience. GoCharlie generates better formatted content, but Copymatic has a built in export function. The long-form articles that I generated with each tool are definitely the best I’ve seen.
In this category, I also give GoCharlie a slight edge based on my experience of generating longer articles and more on-point images. I do think that Copymatic’s social media content is slightly better—but again it’s close. However, because blog articles and images are more important to website owners, GoCharlie is a bit better for content quality.
GoCharlie is the winner when it comes to customer support. Both GoCharlie and Copymatic allow you to send support questions and issues via a chat box on your dashboard. You’ll then get a reply by email. However, GoCharlie has much quicker response times. In my experience, I received response resolutions from GoCharlie within a few hours at the most. However, with Copymatic I had to wait a couple of days to get a response.
You can try both out for free. With GoCharlie, you get an unlimited plan for $39 mo. Copymatic bases their pricing on the number of words you’re allowed to generate per month. For example, the Copymatic Pro Plan costs $6 mo. for 15,000 words, $19 mo. for 50,000 words, $32 mo. for 200,000 words, $66 mo. for 400,000, and so forth.
In this category, it depends on how much content you need generated. If you only need to create a few articles or other pieces of content each month, then Copymatic is the better choice. However, if like me, you need an AI content generator to create a lot of content (possibly for multiple websites), then GoCharlie is the better alternative. For this reason, I give GoCharlie the edge for value.
GoCharlie and Copymatic are both impressive AI generation tools that can produce quality content for website articles, images, and social media. Overall, in this comparison GoCharlie is the winner. I found the blog content and images generated by GoCharlie to be slightly better. And, GoCharlie’s customer support was superior. Also, I like that GoCharlie includes unlimited usage with their plan, giving you more value.
The one situation where you might consider Copymatic is if you only need a limited amount of content generation. Then, Copymatic’s low priced plan would make more sense. However, for all other situations, I would recommend GoCharlie.
